  2. Welcome to the Marietta Systems, Inc. "c_wndw" shareware toolkit.

  4.     Marietta Systems "c_wndw" Toolkit  (tm)

  6. This toolkit for Turbo C and Quick C provides windows, menus, formatted 
  7. entry, and file access function.  The toolkit makes it easy to write C 
  8. programs of professional appearance, quality and performance.
  9.  
  10. The shareware manual for this set of software will be found in file 
  11. 'SUMMARY.DOC' and is 23 pages long.  To print it out type:

  13.     TYPE A:SUMMARY.DOC > PRN
  14.  
  15. To install the software type:
  16.  
  17.     for Turbo C    A:TURBOC
  18.  
  19.     for Quick C    A:QUICKC
  20.  
  21. The software will then install on to the default hard disc drive. 
  22. Installation to diskette will require some changes to these batch files.

  29. The install programs are designed to install from the diskette drive A:. 
  30. When you un-ARC the software you should copy it to a diskette, or amend the 
  31. install program to work from your hard disc!

  35. Some people have asked where C_WNDW.LIB, MTEST.H, and COMPLINK.BAT are.  
  36. These files are created by the installation jobstream dependent on whether
  37. QuickC or TurboC is being installed.  If you got your software from a 
  38. shareware distributor, you will have both the QuickC and TurboC versions.
  39. However, the usual BBS versions in ARC format only contain one set of files
  40. (to keep down the size of the comms download!).  The software is 
  41. otherwise identical.

  43. For TurboC users only, you might want to copy the ".PRJ" files from the 
  44. MARIETTA sub-directory into the TURBOC directory before using the sample 
  45. programs.

  51. For QuickC users only, the COMPLINK batch file now selects the available
  52. QuickC libraries.  It is no longer necessary to reload the uncombined
  53. libraries off the MicroSoft issue diskettes.
